Keyboards, Guitar & Vocals
A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Mark shines on both keyboards and guitar. He has performed in regional rock, blues, and gospel bands including The Opposition and the David Weaver Trio, bringing skill, energy, and musicality to every performance. Today, he adds depth and versatility to Katie and the RED HOTS, enhancing their high-energy sound with rich keyboard and guitar parts.
Mike Allen
Lead Guitar
A seasoned guitarist, session musician, and former instructor, Mike is known for his masterful tone and versatility across jazz, funk, rock, country, and pop. He has played with nationally recognized acts like Jimmie Beaumont & The Skyliners and The Drifters, and served as music director for multiple regional artists. As the lead guitarist for Katie and the RED HOTS, he adds depth, style, and technical brilliance to every performance.

With decades of experience on bass, Dave has performed with a wide variety of regional rock and professional ensembles, developing his precision, groove, and versatility. Rob Covey Jr
Drums & Vocals
A seasoned drummer, Rob has decades of professional experience across jazz fusion, country, and touring. He has recorded and performed with signed artists including Shelly Lares (Sony), Los Padrez (WEA International), and Joe Posada (EMI), and opened for legends like Grover Washington Jr. and Al Di Meola. Today, Rob anchors Katie and the RED HOTS with precision, energy, and dynamic stage presence, driving the band’s rhythm and high-energy performances.
