Rob’s kind of a late bloomer when it comes to drumming. He enjoyed learning music from 7th to 12th grade, and placed as a Texas All-State snare drummer in his junior year. After graduating he bought a drum kit and started playing with numerous garage bands at their share of keg parties and such.

Fast forward a number of years later with valuable experience and seasoning, Rob worked with semi-pro seminal jazz fusion band “Fine Line”, opening for the likes of Grover Washington Jr and Al Di Meola. He then moved to playing professionally, recording and playing concerts with Shelly Lares (Sony), Los Padrez ( WEA Int’l), and Joe Posada (EMI).

Next, Rob moved into the C/W scene to play in a number of road bands, touring from West of Texas to California, and all points in between. Joining Katie and the RED HOTS has brought Rob full circle back to his rock roots.
